In this wonderful job of mine I get to meet a lot of lovely families and it’s super duper special when I get to shoot your little one at a few days fresh and then again a year later in a family photo shoot. The changes are so incredible, their gorgeous smiles, a couple of teeth, the snuggles and cuddles, their little personality just shining through. So I was chuffed when after our lovely in home newborn shoot my client wanted to mark their daughter’s 1st birthday with another session. This beautiful summer has been perfect for family photography in a London park so we decided to meet in the incredible secret garden at Hampstead Heath (shhhh, hehe!). Here are some of my favourites from the relaxed and natural family shoot. Follow this link to see more images from my family photography gallery and feel free to get in touch with…
One of the best things about being a family photographer is getting the chance to see the little human beings that you created grow up! I did a newborn session for the Lyon family just days after their first born made his entrance to the world and this summer I joined the now extended brood for a family shoot in a park in Essex. The weather played ball, there were swings and ducks and all sorts of fun!! This blog post shares some of my favourite images from the session. If you’d like to find out about having a family shoot with your family, take a peek at my family shoot page and let me know if you have any questions. I hope to join you for some park shoot fun very soon!
When I found out an old school friend was going to be in beautiful Barcelona at the same time as me, I HAD to take advantage of the amazing city beach and spend some time catching up, reminiscing and having some fun natural family photography with them. Here are some of my absolute favourites from the session!
One of the benefits of shooting newborn sessions is I often get first dibs on hugs with these awesome little humans and I was lucky enough to be one of the first to meet a very good friend of mine’s little one Sienna Lily last year at just 7 days old. Family photography is one of my favourites, helping you to mark special and life-changing moments in life is a privilege and the arrival of your first child is one of the biggest! Here are my absolute favourites from our in home newborn shoot. Do get in touch if you’re expecting, I’d love to help you make some lovely memories 🙂
One of my favourite ways to shoot family photography is to join them at a celebration and the beautiful day we spent in Nana’s garden with her two grandsons, her children and their spouses as they gathered to celebrate her birthday was absolutely perfect. The little ones were so comfortable in the familiar surroundings and we made some awesome memories the whole family can treasure forever! I firmly believe that family photography is at it’s absolute best when it’s fun, relaxed and natural. Do get in touch if you’d like a shoot with your family!
Oh my gosh, I just LOVED celebrating the arrival of one of my closest friends’ newborn daughter with some family photography at their London home. During our natural light session Alevia Esme and big brother Rylen snuggled for photos with mum and dad… and ok, I admit it, Aunty Elyse grabbed some cuddles in between frames too! Alevia, you’re the fourth puzzle piece to an awesome family and I’m so excited to watch you all grow together. All my love little one! xxxx
After meeting the boys at their newborn photography session, I joined Woody, Oliver, mum + dad for a twin shoot 6 months along! These little duuuuudes! It was so special to be back with them all in the same place we shot before and after they arrived in the world. Now, I gather that being the parents to twins can be tough at times. I’m in awe of my mummy friends who have one baby let alone two! I take my hat off to you Sam + David and I’m so happy you have chosen me to document this special time in your lives. Can’t wait to see you all again at an amazing Italian wedding in 2016 (here’s the lovely Emily + Alex’s Hampstead Heath engagement session…. love it!) and on other occasions too I hope. Sending all the love to you all xxx
A special treat for this newborn photographer… twins!! After spending a beautiful afternoon with Sam and David for a bump shoot whilst Woody and Oliver were waiting to make their appearance it was a pleasure to return and meet the little guys in person for our newborn session at home. Oh my gosh, I’m just never quite prepared for the teeny tinyness (it’s a word!) of newborns and having photographed 7 week old twins just the day before and for Woody + Oliver arriving early these guys were just amazingly preciously itty bitty at just 9 days new! We started with some wrapped up shots before breaking for a feed (and a little wee shower… thanks Oli!) and then placed the brothers side by side, top to tail for one of my favourite twin poses. As their skin touched they really seemed to relax and mum and I shared a look…
I love being a newborn photographer and this natural light newborn session with teeny tiny Meadow Luccia and mum + dad was just dreamy! Their beautiful home was the perfect backdrop for our Essex baby shoot and there was time for a lovely cuppa and an even lovelier cuddle with their gorgeous new princess. Huge congratulations to this beautiful family – thank you for choosing me to capture this special time! xx
