I love being a newborn photographer and this natural light newborn session with teeny tiny Meadow Luccia and mum + dad was just dreamy! Their beautiful home was the perfect backdrop for our Essex baby shoot and there was time for a lovely cuppa and an even lovelier cuddle with their gorgeous new princess. Huge congratulations to this beautiful family – thank you for choosing me to capture this special time! xx
Oooh another gorgeous Christening! Luka’s special day saw a brilliant ceremony in his parent’s church (the priest was HILARIOUS!) surrounded by all his favourite people in the world and then a fab meal in a local restaurant. Mum had worked so hard to plan everything, she decided to have a christening photographer so she could enjoy herself and have fun with her little one and her guests instead of worrying about taking pictures. Smiles and fun all around, it was a pleasure to capture these awesome memories for this amazingly smiley little boy and his lovely family! xx
A beautiful seaside engagement shoot ahead of an August wedding in Brighton ticks every box for a city wedding photographer like me! Having grown up surrounded by the delights of urban Essex and the City of London, a trip to the seaside never fails to make me smile. The sound of the waves, the salty smell of the sea mingled deliciously with the aroma of fish and chips! OK, so it was a LITTLE early for that British delicacy on the morning of Bex + Toby’s engagement session but we had a lovely fun and relaxed couples shoot surrounded by the sights and sounds of Brighton seafront. Brighton is a place very close to their hearts – it has been their home for years, was the site of Toby’s proposal and of course the backdrop to their wonderful wedding at the iconic Brighton bandstand on the famous promenade. Congratulations Bex +…
Ralph’s garden party was a crazy whirlwind of snakes + ladders, pass the parcel, cake, laughter and love – perfect fodder for a London photographer to capture lots of awesome fun! Surrounded by his buddies both big and small the sun shone on a gorgeous celebration. And though little guy may have proven the old adage, ‘It’s my birthday and I’ll cry if I want to,’ (one of my favourite pictures EVER!!!) he soon cheered up and played the day away. Happy Birthday little guy… have had a few more now but I’ll never forget this wicked little party!! xx
Janet’s 70th birthday party was held in her favourite restaurant in Wimbledon, the fabulous San Lorenzo. Their excellent outdoor area was the perfect spot for this London photographer to help them make some awesome memories and with the drinks flowing Janet, her family and friends celebrated late into the afternoon with gorgeous Italian food (YUM!), steel drums (YES!) and grandchildren running around like little hooligans… It was simply awesome. And I couldn’t finish this blog post without mentioning how STUNNINGLY beautiful the birthday girl is. Please, please PLEASE let me look half that good at her age! Looking forward to next year guys xx
Being a party photographer allows me to share and commemorate so many amazing celebrations… ooooh I get goosebumps just thinking about all the fun I’ve been invited to share in with my lovely clients! And once in a while I get to shoot at some celebrations with my own family and friends too. Let me share with you all the fun from my beautiful, gorgeous and wonderful mummy’s 60th birthday party. We had a little marquee in the garden, a lifetime of memories strung up all the way around the edge of the tent, delicious food, tea and some epic speeches all topped off with a scorcher of a day. It was a little while ago now but these images join that lifetime of memories and I can’t wait for all the fun to come. She’s not just my mum, she’s my best friend and one of the kindest, loveliest…
Chloe + Jonathan were a little apprehensive about their engagement shoot in Greenwich which is exactly the reason I love it when my couples choose to do them. Not only does it take the mystery out of the bride and groom portraits so you’re ready to bang them out on the big day and get back to celebrating, it also gives you a lovely reminder of that awesome time in your lives when you were a fiance. I flippin’ LOVE that part and this London photographer wants you to remember it forever! We started by the Cutty Sark ship and although the weather started a little drizzly, we soon fought it off as we walked, laughed and practised some super-simple portrait posing ahead of their April wedding. Can’t wait for the big day guys, see you soon!
