Oooh I loved re-living this amazing wedding choosing my favourites for this blog post!! I have known Matt and Claire for many years and helping them make these wonderful memories was super-fun!! My lovely bride and groom were happy for me to do my natural, relaxed, documentary thang. They chose a dream venue for a barn wedding photographer – the beautiful Hazel Gap Barn. A light-drenched wedding breakfast room, forest and fields for epic bride and groom portraits, enough dance and seating space for all your guest’s needs! Perfection 🙂

Jack + Jean celebrated 60 amazing years of marriage aboard the awesome HQS Wellington on the River Thames surrounded by family, friends, water and a whole lotta love! There were certainly more images in their final gallery from this celebration than the one 60 years ago and it was my absolute privilege to be their anniversary party photographer. Here are some of my favourite shots from their special celebration!
A special treat for this newborn photographer… twins!! After spending a beautiful afternoon with Sam and David for a bump shoot whilst Woody and Oliver were waiting to make their appearance it was a pleasure to return and meet the little guys in person for our newborn session at home. Oh my gosh, I’m just never quite prepared for the teeny tinyness (it’s a word!) of newborns and having photographed 7 week old twins just the day before and for Woody + Oliver arriving early these guys were just amazingly preciously itty bitty at just 9 days new! We started with some wrapped up shots before breaking for a feed (and a little wee shower… thanks Oli!) and then placed the brothers side by side, top to tail for one of my favourite twin poses. As their skin touched they really seemed to relax and mum and I shared a look…
Chloe + Jonathan were a little apprehensive about their engagement shoot in Greenwich which is exactly the reason I love it when my couples choose to do them. Not only does it take the mystery out of the bride and groom portraits so you’re ready to bang them out on the big day and get back to celebrating, it also gives you a lovely reminder of that awesome time in your lives when you were a fiance. I flippin’ LOVE that part and this London photographer wants you to remember it forever! We started by the Cutty Sark ship and although the weather started a little drizzly, we soon fought it off as we walked, laughed and practised some super-simple portrait posing ahead of their April wedding. Can’t wait for the big day guys, see you soon!
